Vladivostok and Yekaterinburg are two points on the map. Between them lie 8,500 kilometers of road, dozens of towns, unfamiliar people, and ever-changing landscapes.
We usually perceive travel as movement from one place to another, focusing on the cities and the destination. But I wanted to pay attention to what lies in between.
This series is an attempt to capture not the journey itself, but the sensations of it—unfamiliar faces, natural landscapes, and the subtle details of daily life that are easily missed while traveling.
During my trip, I witnessed how diverse Russia can be—its nature, its cities, its way of life, and its people. Yet, the further I traveled from my starting point, the clearer it became that beneath all these differences, there was something in common. Perhaps that is the main discovery of my journey: a vast country can be incredibly varied, yet remain unified.
