Animated Posters: PAF and Kolomna Fest

On May 21–24, 2026, the contemporary art fair PAF was held in St. Petersburg. Nikolay Evdokimov Gallery participated in this fair, exhibiting the works of its residents.

For this gallery, a series of posters was developed to convey the spirit of the fair’s theme—“blankness”—and to inform visitors about the exhibited works.

In accordance with the printmaking concept, a minimalist animation was created.

A series of posters based on the works of Sergei Renuk, titled «Sursum Corda, ” was also created for the Nikolay Evdokimov Gallery.

The concept for the animation script is based on the idea of creating posters: deconstructing the original work of the artist and transforming them into a score accompanied by the liturgical chant «Sursum Corda.»

In September 2026, the annual «Kolomna Fest» festival will take place in the historic district of Saint Petersburg—Kolomna.

The historic district of Saint Petersburg—Kolomna—is rich with mysterious stories and legends, and in line with the spirit of the area, a series of posters was created with instructions urging visitors to perform a sort of ritual to make a wish.

Since the core message of these posters is to prompt action, the animation begins with a trial demonstration of performing one of the rituals, followed by a presentation of all the instructional posters so the viewer understands how many wishes they can make.
