At the heart of the «No Reason» t-shirt is the idea of merging luxury with the everyday. I wanted to transform a common wardrobe staple into an autonomous design object while preserving its simple, recognizable silhouette.
The black, relaxed-fit t-shirt serves as a backdrop for an original photographic print. This print unites fragments of urban life: hands adorned with chunky silver rings, public transport railings, a crosswalk, and a traffic light button inscribed with «Wait for Love.»
The black-and-white graphics evoke street posters. The print is positioned along the bottom hem of the t-shirt, keeping the upper portion sleek.
Thus, the ordinary t-shirt becomes an extension of a photo project where opulent jewelry exists amidst the most commonplace urban details. After all, luxury doesn’t require a special occasion.
