The series is a project created for Paleh Park as part of the «Lightcode» festival.

The project’s goal is to create a light installation that reflects the idea of the «Lightcode» festival and reveals the cultural and artistic heritage of Palekh.
The personal goal is to reimagine the flax maturation cycle as a metaphor for the rebirth of the flax mill in a new role, while preserving its cultural significance.
Concept — the flax maturation cycle

In Palekh lacquer miniature, the image of the firebird predominates—a symbol of rebirth—which perfectly aligns with the modern history of the flax mill. The central idea of the installation is this very synthesis and reinterpretation: every cycle of flax maturation is accompanied by the firebird acquiring a feather.
Materials and Equipment
For a clear projection of images containing small but important details, more directed light is necessary.
