The illustration depicts a young witch heading toward a castle overrun by other witches, where chaos reigns and an unusual celebration is taking place. Along the way, she encounters gnome musicians, court jesters, flying witches, and moon rabbits. The entire scene unfolds in a surreal world saturated with vibrant, unnatural colors, and the central compositional element is a winding road that guides the heroine toward the castle while unifying all the characters.
