Binary Obsession

«Zeros and Ones» is a phenomenon—a group whose albums and lyrics are constructed from fragments, wordplay, and chance occurrences. Yet, even a lineup without its usual members can become incredibly iconic in the eyes of a new fan. Parasocial obsession can suffocate creativity, turning genuine expression into endless objectification. The final project will be a fan book, lovingly assembling various facets of the group’s existence: from concert photos to memes and fan sketches.

The photo series was selected from an archive of music concert attendance. Subsequent transformations were carried out using ChatGPT 5.2. I also asked the AI to assume the persona of an obsessed fan. The text inside the art book is partially based on these stylized responses. I continue to work with AI by assigning it artistic roles—thus approaching the most averaged experience of the most eccentric events.
