Factory: Creating a T-shirt inspired by the «ALTAI KIJI» project

The project is aimed at reinterpreting the traditional Altai national ornament and integrating it into contemporary fashion design. The core concept is to preserve and popularize Altai cultural heritage by using traditional ornamental motifs in the design of modern t-shirts.

As part of the project, a design for a muted khaki-colored t-shirt was developed, incorporating Altai ornamentation placed across the front, sleeves, and lower portion of the garment. The composition unites large, symmetrical motifs, repeating ornamental bands, and decorative elements of varying scale. The dark brown color of the pattern harmonizes beautifully with the main fabric color, creating a sophisticated vintage effect.

The project merges traditional cultural motifs with contemporary apparel aesthetics. Special attention is paid to preserving the distinctive geometry of Altai ornamentation, the symmetry of its elements, and the harmonious distribution of decorative details on the garments.
