Munsang birds are omnivorous by nature and choose the ripest, juiciest coffee cherries as their food, which is why the coffee is of high quality. In the areas where they live (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam), people, driven by profit, keep them in cramped cages and feed them low-quality coffee tree fruit.
