«Deeper into the Night» is a continuation of a project focused on rethinking the visual identity of Saint Petersburg. At its core are two opposing images of the city: the industrial geometry of the subway system and the unique lighting of the White Nights, when the boundary between day and night virtually disappears. Their contrast becomes the foundation for the custom graphics on the t-shirt. Through a minimalist visual language, the project offers a new perspective on Petersburg, addressing not its familiar tourist symbols, but its less obvious cultural codes.
Two print variations were developed, each revealing the concept through different graphic approaches: abstract geometry based on urban routes and a collage composed of architectural fragments and silhouettes.
For production, the white t-shirt print option was chosen. Its foundation is the contrast between two spaces of St. Petersburg: the bright white nights and the dark underground world of the metro. The smooth transitions of light and shadow convey this opposition, while the system of lines and nodes references the metro map. The concise composition unites both images of the city, maintaining expressiveness and a minimalist character.
