Kalfak: Code of Tradition

«Kalfak: Code of Tradition» — an original print for a t-shirt, based on the image of a traditional Tatar women’s headwear. Black velvet and pearl embroidery are reinterpreted through modern graphic design. The botanical ornamentation maintains a connection to national costume, and the concise composition translates a cultural symbol into everyday wear. The project explores the potential dialogue between tradition and contemporary design.
