The project is based on an authorial reinterpretation of a traditional 19th-century Caucasian women’s corset. Its structure and characteristic details are reimagined in a contemporary visual identity. The corset’s form, the placement of wooden inserts, and the specific silhouette serve as the foundation for a stylization that reveals the connection between historical costume, concepts of feminine beauty, tradition, and corporeality. The project preserves the recognizable elements of the historical piece while reinterpreting them through modern design and photography.
