The concept is fundamentally built upon a reinterpretation of the monastery as a space where, over centuries, not only architectural traditions but also culinary culture were formed. The Portuguese monastic confectionery tradition, known as doçaria conventual, encompasses numerous dessert recipes created within monasteries and monastic communities. Over time, these recipes moved beyond religious institutions to become a part of the country’s everyday culture.lar — from the Portuguese word for «house» or «hearth.»
About the Project
The design object is a space on the first floor of the PIK residential complex on Rublyovskoye Highway in Moscow. Its location within a residential development dictates the venue’s primary function: it must be part of the neighborhood’s daily infrastructure and meet the needs of local residents.
The target audience includes residents of the complex and neighboring buildings: students, young couples, and families with children. For this audience, convenience, an understandable product selection, a comfortable atmosphere, and the ability to visit regularly throughout the day are important factors.
