misogyny
The term misogyny is not simply a dislike of women; it is a system of attitudes and practices that controls and punishes women for stepping outside prescribed roles—to be convenient, nurturing, young, and compliant.
Today, misogyny has become background noise: it is embedded in advertising, social media, and everyday jokes, so it is perceived as normal, and the digital environment exacerbates harassment and the devaluation of female voices. In my video, I assembled clips from films where the woman’s initial «service» to the man is demonstrated, but then the level of aggression and hysteria gradually increases in the woman, culminating in segments featuring violence. Constant attempts to restrict women ultimately lead to rebellion.
