A Little About Me
In Brian De Palma’s crime drama, «Scarface,» there is a scene where the hero, played by Al Pacino, says, «Everything I have in this world is my courage and my word.» As a child, I liked this character because he acted fiercely on screen, didn’t pay attention to difficulties, and was genuinely determined and brave (even though he lacked other valuable qualities like morality).When I grew up and started working in creative producing, I rewatched the film and was surprised to find that the character still resonates with me because, like me, he manages projects. In the film, on the set, or during an editorial meeting, nothing goes according to plan—you depend on people and must negotiate with them, you take risks, you are responsible for the team, you make decisions on the spot, and so on.
I cannot say that we adhere to the same principles, but the fact that we both became successful in fields for which we lack formal education, relying solely on our own talent, ingenuity, courage, and luck—that is hard to ignore.
Currently, I work at the Faculty of Creative Industries at HSE University. There, I manage a large student team that includes editors, designers, media volunteers, and other specialists. Together, we work on a project at the intersection of culture, media, and design called «YAT Center.»
I am a specialist in various fields and have already acquired diverse, high-quality education. My learning experiences include: cultural studies classes at School No. 1514, a young journalist course at Moscow State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from HSE, the «Pushkin» art studio, and a stylist course from Rebel School. I am confident that my approach to creative challenges will be engaging for faculty, and my vision is unconventional. I am open to new creative projects!
