The print is based on the story of a sun goddess who dreams of studying space but cannot leave her planetary system. On the t-shirt, she reaches toward a large, beautiful star that remains out of reach. This image conveys her desire to break free from familiar boundaries and the drama of the situation. The print continues my previous project about the goddess, translating her internal conflict onto a daily medium—the t-shirt.
