«Ostrogino» — a photo series exploring the contrast between the nature of Strogino and contemporary urban development. Inspired by the work of Alexander Gronsky, I deliberately chose shooting locations on the shore from which new residential complexes are visible through the natural landscape. Nature here is perceived as a distinct island within the metropolis, inextricably linked to it.
The title «Ostrogino» references the historical name of the area—Ostrogino. The highlighted letter «O» evokes the image of an island, a confined space, and the continuity of the horizon line, while also transforming the name into a narrative «about Ostrogino.»
