The project is a satire of the fashion industry and consumerism through the deconstruction of the glossy standard. The focus is extreme alienation: the model is transformed into an inanimate object, frozen in an endless attempt to «display the merchandise» in a world where that merchandise is no longer needed by anyone.

The setting is chosen as an abandoned shopping mall—a metaphorical ruin of the temple of consumption. In this liminal space, the ephemerality of material values is revealed: stripped of its viewer and buyer, objects instantly lose their worth, transforming into construction debris.
The subject exists within the logic of the «uncanny valley» effect: a vacant gaze and stiff, awkward posing make the model resemble a mannequin or a plastic doll, thereby underscoring objectification within the fashion industry. The intentional abandonment of academic photographic refinement (utilizing raw, amateur-style shooting and direct frontal flash) strips the image of its glamorous distance, transforming the traditional pathos of fashion photography into an unsettling farce.
