The video is fundamentally about capturing a person’s bewilderment when confronted with historical upheavals that disorient them. The material used for this work consisted of recordings from 2012 political debates. The historical context is erased through editing to expose the essence of what is happening. I strip the television spectacle of its semantic weight by removing its informational content. All that remains is the physiological tension (sighs), ritualistic noises (applause), and the speakers' disorientation. This method transforms the debate into an absurd theater. In a world where communication is completely broken, common sense becomes a burden, and the substance of politics is pure anxiety.
