«Solanums» is a collection of plush stuffed pillows inspired by the original animated film Solánum.
The main character of the series is Kartofelina—a character from the animated film «Solanum» (from Latin Solanum), in honor of which this series is released.
These charming toys will bring bright emotions to the owner and remind them of their favorite tuber!
The «Foxglove» Toy Series
All the toys feature a soft, flattened silhouette, rounded shapes, and expressive detailing. Yet, each potato has its own color scheme and visual character, allowing the characters to be easily distinguished from one another.
They are perfect for a child’s room and can become beloved companions in everyday adventures. They are compact, lightweight, and cozy, making them safe for kids and ideal for decor. The project combines playful and educational elements, introducing anyone interested to the biological diversity of potatoes.
The current collection includes three types of potato: ◉ Solanum Batat (elongated, red with patterns) ◉ Solanum Ordinary (oval, pink) ◉ Solanum Beloborodavchatyy (round, green with white speckles)
Each option possesses its own unique visual character while maintaining the recognizable form of the author’s collection.
This collection could be expanded with other vegetables inspired by the nightshade family: tomato, eggplant, pepper, and other plants featuring unusual shapes and colors.
