Pass —> pass the T-shirt

PASO—a project exploring how the familiar ritual of mate can be reinterpreted through the language of football. The idea originated from observing the beverage’s culture: mate is passed around in a circle, much like a pass in a game. This gave rise to the brand’s visual language—lines of movement, tactical diagrams, points, and trajectories. Gradually, this graphic style permeated the product itself: freeze-dried mate is packaged in small forms resembling elements of a football diagram. Users can choose the quantity of these «tea sachets» to regulate the beverage’s strength.The project continues PASO’s core identity, developing it across new media—packaging, merchandise, commercial shoots, and digital communication. Here, the football metaphor transcends mere decoration; it becomes the guiding principle connecting the product, the method of its use, and the brand’s visual language.

Technology — DTF: This process allows for the retention of fine lines in tactical graphics, detailed typography, and rich brand colors. Most of the T-shirt surface remains unprinted. Image Size — 38 × 49 cm. Placement — Center of the back; the top point of the composition is located approximately 8 cm from the collar seam. T-shirt — White, oversized. Size Range — S–XL. The composition is designed to use a single print size across the entire range. On size S (back width approx. 56 cm, length approx. 70 cm), the image occupies about 68% of the back width and functions as a large poster block. On size XL (width approx. 64 cm, length approx. 76 cm), the print covers about 59% of the width: more white space appears around the composition, yet the scale and legibility of the graphics are maintained. Therefore, one file sized 38 × 49 cm is suitable for the entire size range. Inks Used — Dark blue 232D3A, orange E5D646, green 2C8C00, light blue 55BCE8.

The print size was chosen to maintain the feel of a large tactical schematic on the back while leaving the white field of the T-shirt visible around the image. When preparing for print, the fine lines of the graphics must not be thinner than 0.5 mm, and small text must be checked for legibility at 1:1 scale.
