The project subverts conventional perceptions of reality. Instead of a sky above the metropolis—there is a thick body of water.

We are accustomed to thinking we are at the peak, but this image invites us to view humanity as inhabitants of a vast aquarium. It is a reflection on our habitat, the illusion of freedom, and the limits of perception.
Selected format: 150×100 cm
When looking up at the skyscrapers from below, the viewer should feel small, trapped at the «bottom» of this aquarium. The large format will force the image to actively engage with the space and amplify the immersive effect.

The glossy acrylic here functions not merely as a protective material, but as a meaning-generating element: it literally transforms the work into a body of water or a tank’s glass, while the concealed chassis, which pulls the object away from the wall, makes it appear to «float,» as if in zero gravity.
