Hey! My name is Polina.

I create motion graphics for music and brands — concert visuals, release campaigns, motion identities and explainers.
Have a project in mind? I can develop a visual concept or join your team to bring it into motion.

01 / Music in motion
NAVAI. A different visual character for every track.

Concert visuals · 2025 My role: Backdrops producer&designer
Challenge
Create visuals for a concert programme, giving individual tracks their own atmosphere while maintaining continuity across the performance.
Idea
I combined realistic imagery with red, black and blue tones, unusual camera angles, typography and references to works of art. Each song had its own backdrop, designed to reveal its meaning and mood.
I developed more than 30 track-specific visuals, including audio-reactive graphics.
02 / Identity in motion
XD prod. From visual noise to a clear signal.
A motion-led visual identity for XD prod., a visual production studio working across digital identity, motion design, CG and media environments.Project type: Student project Design: Polina Averyanova & Daria Lisunova My contribution: branding&motion design Tutor: Vasily Shikhachevsky
Challenge
Many projects. One studio.
XD prod.’s portfolio was spread across several platforms. The challenge was to bring its work together through a consistent visual identity, connecting the showreel, website and project presentations.
The identity needed to accommodate visually diverse projects while giving the studio a recognisable presence of its own.
Idea
Reassemble the noise.
The concept translates the studio’s work into a visual process: turning scattered material into a coherent media signal.
A small square acts as a pixel or cursor, representing the studio’s intervention. Typography stretches and compresses, while vertical lines evoke screen interference, film strips and sequences of frames.
Together, these elements make transformation the central behaviour of the identity.
03 / Ideas in motion
How can we see with our eyes closed? An explainer about images generated from within.
Explainer concept & visual development Project type: Student project My role: Concept, script and visual development
Challenge
Explain an image that has no external source.
Closing our eyes does not always leave us in darkness. Flashes, patterns and colours can appear without an external image to look at.
The project explores how the visual system produces these experiences, introducing phosphenes and internally generated imagery to an audience interested in science, art and perception.
The design challenge was to make an unfamiliar process understandable while conveying its subjective, elusive character.
Idea
Turn perception into the visual language.
The film approaches the subject through the experience of seeing: noise takes shape, patterns emerge and recognisable images become unstable.
Soft gradients, distorted footage and repeating textures evoke the uncertainty of internally generated imagery. Typography and anatomical references provide clear points of orientation.
The narrative moves from a personal question — «What am I seeing with my eyes closed?» — towards a broader one: how much of what we see is constructed by the brain?
