ABOUT THE PROJECT
In this module, the goal was to develop a concept for urban street furniture. An analysis of park infrastructures revealed a lack of outdoor amenities for animals—specifically, their absence. This project serves as a model for urban solutions in areas where people most often spend time with their pets. The bench is designed to accommodate the typical scenario of a dog walk: the person wants a place to rest, the dog can lie down nearby, drink water, or wait calmly for its owner. The core principle is not to isolate the dog as a separate infrastructural element, but to integrate it into the overall recreational system.

The bench integrates seamlessly into the urban landscape and will serve as a vibrant focal point in the park’s infrastructure. For the pet, it will be an excellent resting spot where they can drink water and lounge near their owner.
STRUCTURE
The object is a bench with an L-shaped or stepped design. One section is intended for a person to sit on, and the other, lower section, is for a dog.
