«Syktyv,» which translates from the Komi language, denotes the Sysola River, upon which the capital of the Komi Republic is built. The Syktyv typeface is a heavy grotesque with a primordial, natural plasticity. Its character is inspired by the landscapes, traditions, and folk crafts of the republic.
