«When we were children, many of us had a crystal or porcelain vase at home, always filled with candies. It was a symbol of coziness, a small celebration, and unconditional care. But the sweets ran out quickly, leaving only wrappers and a light, wistful sadness.»

Preliminary sketch, pending a final decision on the concept

Choosing the theme of candies for the porcelain work, I wanted to materialize and «preserve» these fleeting childhood memories. Porcelain is a noble, fragile, and enduring material. By transforming the ordinary, everyday sweet into a porcelain art object, I strip it of its utilitarian meaning (it cannot be eaten), but imbue it with a sacred significance. It is a symbol of frozen time—an imprint of childhood joy that can now be touched, but which cannot be destroyed.
