The concept of this project is to erase the boundary between classical painting and modern digital technologies. I used a still life as the foundation, which I re-created in the 3D environment Houdini. I was interested in how the interplay of light and shadow, the texture of grapes and ceramics—elements familiar to us from the canvases of old masters—would look when translated onto everyday apparel.

print options:

mockup preparation: the initial 3D render from Houdini undergoes color correction and is saved in high resolution (300 dpi) as a TIFF file.
printing: the image is applied using DTG printing. This allows for the printing of complex 3D renders with smooth transitions of shadows and light, avoiding the «plastic» film effect.
post-processing: thermal curing of the print for washfastness.
Production file package: The project folder contains the source render in PNG format with a transparent background (for print), the color correction file, and the T-shirt pattern (if available). All files are uploaded to the temp folder.
