The t-shirt is inspired by the original costume «The Bride,» which was developed based on research into Cossack ethnic culture. At its core is a reinterpretation of the traditional female archetype, exploring the tension between the external opulence of Cossack culture and the burdens of womanhood. The print is executed using a hand-collage technique: the composition features a woman seated on a chest, from which numerous fabrics spill out, gradually enveloping and consuming her figure. The chest symbolizes the dowry—representing wealth, familial memory, and the weight of a woman’s life. The expanding layers of fabric embody the contradiction within Cossack culture, where splendor, festivity, and freedom coexist with hardship, separation, and the constant shadow of loss.
