T-shirt inspired by the Chuvash khushpu

The project focuses on creating a print for a t-shirt inspired by the traditional Chuvash headdress, the khushpu. The composition is based on the characteristic decorative elements of the headdress: coins, metal pendants, and beads. The print transfers elements of historical costume onto modern, everyday apparel, preserving their recognizability while exploring the project’s concept—the historical significance of ornamentation as a symbol of prosperity and social status, and the question of whether material well-being can guarantee an individual’s safety in the contemporary world.
