In this module, we studied historical calligraphic scripts. I chose Carolingian minuscule—the script of the age of Charlemagne, characterized by clear, rounded forms and a distinctive rhythm. I found it interesting to connect medieval writing with the world of Tolkien, so for my compositions, I selected phrases inspired by his works.

In this project, I aimed to convey the charm and visual style of a script reminiscent of Elvish language and calligraphy. It was important for me to show how historical script can create a fantasy atmosphere.
