DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY TRAINING

The goal is to develop the design and production documentation necessary to launch the jacket into manufacturing.

Objectives: — Develop a technical sketch with a description of the model sample; — Develop a master sample; — Develop the engineering documentation; — Develop the technological documentation.

Men’s casual jacket with a relaxed fit. It is made from a thin nylon fabric with a crinkled texture effect. The garment has a straight silhouette of medium length, reaching the hip line. The construction features a detachable hood, a central closure, and patch pockets of varying sizes.The material is medium-density nylon fabric with a water-repellent finish and a characteristic wrinkled surface texture. The hood lining is made from the main fabric.The closure is central, using a heavy-duty zipper covered by a windproof placket. The placket is fastened with metal snaps. The upper part of the jacket is finished with a fold-down collar.The front features the central closure. On the right side, there is a rectangular patch breast pocket with a flap secured by a metal snap. At the lower front, there are two voluminous patch pockets with flaps, secured by metal snaps.The back panel is seamless, without additional structural divisions. The upper section is completed with a detachable hood featuring characteristic circular protective lenses.The sleeves are set-in, single-seamed, and have a relaxed volume. The bottom of the sleeves is adjustable with a tab secured by a metal snap. The left sleeve includes a decorative-functional circular lens element. The hood is detachable, voluminous, and fastens to the neckline of the garment. Two circular black protective lenses are located on the back of the hood.The collar is fold-down and of medium height, structurally integrated with the hood attachment point. Hardware includes a metal heavy-duty zipper, metal snap fasteners, and black plastic protective lenses.Stitching details: decorative stitching 1–2 mm wide along the edges of the collar, the closure placket, pocket flaps, the bottom edge of the jacket, the sleeve bottoms, and the hood contour.Construction features: detachable hood with protective lenses; central zipper closure under a placket; 3 patch pockets with flaps; adjustable sleeve hems with snaps; decorative lens on the sleeve; water-repellent nylon fabric with a crinkled texture.Recommended fit: Regular / Relaxed Fit.Garment length: hip line.
