Concept
The balcony is a section of domestic space visible from the street. Clothes are drying behind the glass, plants are situated there, and boxes, dishes, and other items are stored. Their arrangement results from everyday actions: placing, hanging, clearing space, postponing for later use. Gradually, these actions create an order that becomes accessible to an outside gaze.
The series explores the moment when the utilitarian arrangement of objects begins to be perceived as a composition. The window frame sets its boundaries, the mullions divide it into sections, and the glass alters the visibility of objects. Clothing becomes a splash of color, stacked items form a dense volume, and the open space in the window acts as a pause between them.
«Not for display”—a series on the everyday, which becomes an exhibition the moment an audience member appears
