On October 23, a musical evening titled «HOMEAY, ” dedicated to the art of traditional Tuvan throat singing, was held at the „Dom“ cultural center.

The main objective is to translate the sound of Tuvan throat singing through graphic design, using a stencil provided by the instructor. The poster consists of nine A4 sheets, each representing a standalone composition while simultaneously being part of a unified whole. All graphics and typography are executed by hand using markers.

I wanted to convey throat singing as the voice of the Tyva Mountains themselves—deep, sustained, and space-filling. The sharp peaks evoke mountain ranges, and the repeating contours represent the voice’s vibration and the echo scattering among the summits. In this graphic, the sound seems to take shape: the voice continues the lines of the mountains, and the landscape itself begins to sing.
