LOGLINE:
Katya, exhausted by the role of «mom» to her own mother, uncovers her mother’s new suitor is involved in a scam. Rita refuses to believe her daughter’s doubts, idolizing the man, so Katya gathers all the evidence to shatter her illusions and save their family from the fraudster.
THEME: A story about a cycle in which two close, loving women «devour» each other and are pushed out of their comfort zone due to the echoes of past family misfortunes that haunt them daily—and about the hope for an escape from this cycle of suffering.
