WALLET MODERNIZATION
CONCEPT
ZERO — a reinterpretation of the classic bi-fold wallet, blending a familiar format with thoughtful functionality and a minimalist design. With quick access to cards, a removable coin purse, a Bluetooth tracker, and an extra attachment, the wallet adapts to the user’s daily needs.
GOAL AND OBJECTIVE
Project Goal: To refine the classic folding wallet, making it more convenient and faster to use.
Tasks: — Analyze the shortcomings of existing solutions. — Determine user needs. — Conduct research and develop design variations. — Select a concept and generate the 3D model. — Prepare visualizations of the final product.
COLOR AND MATERIAL
Materials: — Crazy Horse natural leather — the wallet’s exterior shell. — Heavy-duty woven nylon — inner card slots. Suitable for daily use due to its abrasion resistance. — TPU-coated nylon — material for the removable coin pouch. The coating facilitates surface cleaning. — Reinforced thread — for durable seams and reinforcement of high-stress areas.

The following solutions were proposed as a result of the work:
— Quick access to cards via specialized textile tabs.
— Structural adaptability through a removable coin pouch.
— Additional loss protection provided by a Bluetooth tracker and a detachable strap for attachment.
— Ease of use facilitated by a snap button.
— A distinctive aesthetic achieved with Crazy Horse leather, which develops a unique patina over time.
— Practical construction thanks to the combination of leather, durable textile, and reinforced stitching.
