Concept
In an era of shifting aesthetics, individuals no longer have to define themselves through a single visual code. They are free to appropriate elements from different cultures, even combining opposing imagery. Alter Ego explores the possibility of multiple visual identities coexisting within a single self.

Minimum print run and production timelines
According to potential production partners, the minimum order quantity is 10 units. The following size distribution has been selected for the trial batch: S — 3 units, M — 4 units, L — 3 units. There is also the option to produce one experimental sample with a 20% surcharge. The estimated production and delivery time is 5–20 business days.
Preliminary cost estimate for manufacturing
According to the manufacturing chart, the cost of materials and printing for one T-shirt is ₽2,602.40. The additional cost for cutting and sewing is ₽1,500.
Therefore, the cost to produce one T-shirt in a small batch of 10 pieces is ₽4,102.40.
For the experimental sample, a 20% markup is applied to the sewing cost, meaning the sewing cost will be ₽1,800. Including materials and printing, the final cost of the sample is ₽4,402.40.
Suggested Retail Price
The proposed retail price for one t-shirt will be 6,900 ₽, with a cost price of 4,102.40 ₽.
The markup relative to the cost price is 68,2% (2,797.60 ₽ per item). This is allocated to cover logistics, packaging, and additional material costs, such as the variance in fabric consumption across sizes S, M, and L, as well as to generate profit.
Requested Grant Amount
The cost to produce an experimental sample is 4,402.40 ₽, and the production of a trial batch of 10 units is 41,024 ₽.
The total production cost is 45,426.40 ₽.
The requested grant amount is 50,000 ₽. The remaining 4,573.60 ₽ are allocated as a reserve for potential increases in material and service costs, as well as other unforeseen expenses.
