For the main project of the first module, I am exploring the clothing of 19th-century Bukhara Uzbeks: its forms, details, and the structure of the costume. For the «Factory» project, I continued my work with historical patterns and ornaments, transferring my original graphics onto a modern t-shirt.
It was important for me to preserve the delicate nature of the design and demonstrate how a graphic motif can exist on everyday wear.

The composition features two birds whose silhouettes incorporate elements of traditional Uzbek ornamental graphics. The smooth contours of the birds are complemented by swirls and fine details, while individual markings around them complete the design. The dark graphic is set against a gray melange t-shirt, allowing the color and texture of the fabric to become part of the composition.
A heather gray t-shirt with dark front graphics has been selected for the project. The application technology is DTG—Direct-to-Garment printing. This method is ideal for images featuring fine lines and gradients. Before production, the layout must be checked on the fabric of the selected color, and the print size and placement must be finalized.
The T-shirt design project is connected to my research into 19th-century Bukhara Uzbek costumes, which I began in the first module. In the main project, I am studying the clothing and construction of the chapan. For the «Factory» assignment, I approach graphic design and consider it an independent component of a contemporary garment. https://hsedesign.ru/project/abe396072e7f44e38b887b5eda96a996
