CONCEPT
The body shape changes. The construction of the clothing follows suit.

POSTURE — a project investigating the influence of the digital environment on the human body and its interaction with clothing.
The constant use of smartphones and computers is gradually altering typical human posture. Lowered heads, rounded shoulders, and slumped backs form a new silhouette, which serves as the starting point for developing garment construction.
The project centers on a T-shirt designed with altered anatomy in mind. Its patterns were developed on a mannequin with artificially deformed posture. The shifting of structural lines and the redistribution of volume allow the garment to adapt to the unfamiliar body position.
POSTURE views changes in the human silhouette not as a defect requiring correction, but as an opportunity to find new construction solutions in fashion design.
