I come up with original ideas and bring them to life. I can create animations, comics, and illustrations. The worlds and characters I create are thoughtfully developed and engaging.

Create a two-page comic spread about the Gunzechoinei Datsan.

I tested several brushes in the software, selected the one I liked best, and received the client’s approval.

The client provided photographs of the datsan to use as references for the spread. I selected the photos I liked best and then created a storyboard. I wanted readers to see individual details first and the overall scene only afterward, so I began with the courtyard around the datsan before revealing the building itself. On the second page, I showed the interior of the datsan. I reviewed and approved the storyboard with the client.

This was a long but enjoyable stage. I illustrated each panel using the selected brush, following the storyboard.

Create an animated advertisement for a family therapist.

The client had written the script, so I began by designing the characters. Since this was an advertisement, I avoided giving them highly distinctive personalities: they were meant to represent an average family. I gave them relatively large heads so their facial expressions would be easy to read and they would look friendly. I received the client’s approval for the designs.

I created a storyboard and an animatic that outlined the scenes and character movements, then added a voice-over to the animatic. I kept the movements relatively simple to make the animation process faster and easier.

I thought that backgrounds painted with an unusual brush would pair well with the simple character designs. I painted the backgrounds using a watercolor brush and received the client’s approval.
